1. Getting Started
GateKeep is a comprehensive society management platform. Access the app at the login page and use your credentials to sign in.

After logging in, you'll see the dashboard with key metrics, recent activity, and quick actions.
2. Dashboard Overview
The dashboard provides a quick snapshot of your society:
- Active Visitors — Number of visitors currently checked in or pre-approved
- Open Complaints — Complaints that need attention
- Pending Bills — Unpaid maintenance bills for the current month
- Residents — Total registered residents in the society
The activity feed shows the latest events across all modules, while quick actions let you jump to common tasks.
3. Visitor Management
Manage all visitor entries with QR-based contactless check-in:
- Today's Log — View all visitors for today with their status (pre-approved, checked-in, checked-out)
- Pre-Approve — Generate a QR pass for expected visitors. Fill in the visitor's name, phone, purpose, and vehicle number
- History — Browse all past visitor entries with search
Each visitor gets a unique QR code that security can scan at the gate for instant verification.
4. Resident Directory
Browse the complete society directory with powerful search and filters:
- Search by name, flat number, or phone number
- Filter by tower (A, B, C, D) and occupancy type (Owner / Tenant)
- Click on any resident to see their detailed profile including visitor log, bills, and complaints
5. Amenity Booking
Book society amenities like Clubhouse, Gym, Pool, Party Hall, and Tennis Court:
- Browse available amenities with capacity, timings, and pricing
- Select a date, pick an available time slot, and choose duration
- Confirm booking and see it in your "My Bookings" table
- Each amenity has rules that are displayed before booking
6. Complaint Management
Raise, track, and resolve society complaints:
- Raise Complaint — Select category (plumbing, electrical, security, etc.), set priority, and provide description
- Track Progress — Visual status bar showing Open → In Progress → Resolved → Closed
- Comment Thread — Add comments and updates on each complaint
- Filter — Use category pills to filter complaints by type
Admins can resolve complaints and add administrative comments. Residents can track the status of their complaints in real-time.
7. Billing & Payments
View and manage maintenance bills:
- Residents — See current month bill with detailed breakdown (maintenance, water, electricity, parking, sinking fund). Click "Pay Now" to mark as paid
- Admins — Overview of collection stats, pending amounts, and overdue bills across all flats
- Payment history shows all past transactions with dates
8. Society Notices
Stay updated with society-wide communications:
- Filter notices by type: General, Maintenance, Event, Emergency, Meeting
- Each notice shows type badge, priority indicator, content preview, and posting date
- Admins can create new notices with title, content, type, and priority
9. Staff Attendance
Manage society staff and track daily attendance:
- Staff cards showing role, shift, phone, rating, and join date
- Daily attendance table with check-in/check-out times
- Admins can mark check-in and check-out for staff members
- Status tracking: Present, Absent, Half-day, Late
